Nuvi 260 mass storage mode

My garmin nuvi 260 doesn't seem to be reading the external card. It was working about a month ago and I've not used the unit much since. When I plug my garmin into my laptop, I can see the Garmin icon and the files associated with that, but micro sd card doesn't show up as a separate drive. I switched out cards thinking that perhaps the card was bad. Am I missing something?

Hard Reset

Don't know if it will help, but you might try doing a hard reset on the unit. DorkusNimrod explains the procedure in this post: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25426
