Really settling down fm tha long summer season.....
actually able to putt out without the pesky sweat in your eyes......will be storing the shorts for the longer pants pretty soon.

Had snow showers in the mountains and a heavy frost in Kingsport. Guess that's it for the grass cutting this year.

had rains here over the weekend; seemed it would not stop. But stop it did.

Starting to act like fall here in FL. Lows in the forties but to warm up later in the week.

We've only had 2 storms blow in here fall and we've already got just over 7" of rain out of them. OY VEY, PLEASE don't tell me we're gonna have another winter like the one in 1982?!

It is starting to be a hectic week. We are getting some frost in the mornings and cooler weather. The change of seasons will be good, but I will miss the Summer.

Ohio has the best Fall weather in the world. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 and Sunny with no humidity..and crisp fall air...it is like having air conditioning outside...
And the trees are almost at peak color..

it's the dog's fault

I remember someone posting about speed limits 65 instead of 70 on I95.Found that to be true in some areas.From VA To GA.Made this trip many times and has always been 70 except for a very few areas.Lots of road construction going on.I guess the stimulus money being spent.Big improvements in some areas but a ways to go.

First long trip for my garmin 760 and get to check it out.

Hey Charlie, glad that you made it to Florida ok. I will be leaving the Boston area for my trip to Davie, Florida next weekend, for the winter season. I usualy drive from 5:00am till 3:00pm. Was the construction on 95 durning the night or day?

I didn't stop until about 7:00 pm for the night in Georgia.It appears they stopped about 5:00 pm.Look out for one thing.Not sure if the maps or what.Some areas showing 60 mph when you look on the gps screen map.The areas showing that was sections they had completed construction on.I never seen anything showing different speed then that.Just a guess but maybe that was the speed during the time of the maps updates and will change later on another map update.You know the drill about everything going to one lane but only a few spots for that.I still made good time.Not a lot of traffic yet.Let me know one thing when you hit south of the boarder let me know if your unit re-calculates.Mine did but straighten right up.Never had to happen before on the 265 or 340.Maybe just a fluke.Have a good trip.

Thanks for the traffic info. There is a spot in the middle of the Mass. Turnpike that my 255 will always re-calculate. There are no exits around when it happens. A second re-calc. brings me back on track. I have updated my 2009 maps to 2010 maps and it still happens. When I get to Pedro's home, I will see what happens

Make sure to wave at Pedro when you go by.

Someone told me that the weather forecasters are looking for a very cold winter this year. If true, I hope it at least doesn't shorten our Fall.

leaves are changing in Brooklyn. heavy rain caused some flooding on Saturday. Lost alot of leaves.Pier one has planted 4 trees in brooklyn bridge park.
