I can use Address Book Exporter to create delimited files from Address Book. But how do I geocode the street addresses?
I've seen the websites that will do this, and Google Earth supposedly does it, but I'm not sure the free version does. I have HoudahGeo for my photos, but need a comparable software tool for my contacts.

On Google Earth you can put
On Google Earth you can put address in and a marker will show on the screen.Move your cursor to the marker and you will see the coordinates at the bottom of the screen. If you want it to show Decimal degrees go to tools top of page,options,3d view and under show lat/log put mark in decimal degrees.
You can also use http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/ to do single or multiple address's.
