Bellevue Wa adds speed cameras

The City of Bellevue has installed two speed-enforcement cameras near Stevenson and Lake Hills elementary schools reports the Bellevue reports The Bellevue Reporter. The cameras were installed and were operational to coincide with the start of the new school year.

The cameras are positioned to monitor traffic during school start and release hours. The cameras monitor westbound traffic along Northeast Eighth street and 143rd Avenue Northeast, and Southeast Eighth Street and 14rd Place Southeast.

Sigh....
