Corrupted POI file?

I downloaded US Weigh-Stations a long time ago and it worked perfectly. I just redown loaded the same file and now it does not show on screen when you approach a scale.( yes I did put it in the USA and Canada folder and enabled show poi. I can do a search for poi and it will show list and map, It just wont show in real time. Anybody got ideas? All othe POIs work properly thx, Ken TomTom ONE 3RD
That file was just converted
That file was just converted out of an old database. You may need to use manual mode to set an alert now.
Miss POI
I go to Show POI on map and
I go to Show POI on map and check box. It does not display icon on screen when traveling the highways. I does list the sites on search or navigate to. I downloaded the file twice as ov2 and csv.
Did you check their names?
Are the POIs and the ICONs named exactly the same?
Remember, you can change the name of a downloaded POI file to anything you want, but the ICON must be named exactly the same as the POI or it won't show up on the screen.

Yes they are the same, I even tried without a custom icon - same results
One more thing
Go into the Manage POIs screen on your TT and then select Warn When Near POI. As you go through that section make any changes that you deem necessary (distance to POI, warning sounds, etc.). When you come to the 'Warn only if POI is on route' screen make sure that the box is checked. That's the only other thing that I can think of.

another corrupted file
I was having problems uploading the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP-South). If I had this file in my folder it would hang the computer up.

Tried with and without alert. changed distance from 300 yds on out, checked on route box, used canned sounds and custom sounds, generic icon and custom icon. When I near a scale location nothing shows. I have several other POIs set in different ways and they all work perfectly

Have you tried looking over here: www.tomtomforums.com to see if the problem you're having is proprietary to your specific model? Short of that I have no other tricks for you to try.

I Did and downloaded a few
I Did and downloaded a few POIs there and they work fine. Its only recently downloaded files from POI feactory that dont work. Older files work fine. Must be something with the new format that my TT dont like.
UPDATE I downloaded POI Factory POIs because they are mor complete and up to date then the competation. I downloaded as Garmin CSV and used Extra POI Editor and converted to .ov2 and they show just fine.
New .ov2 format
Can anyone tell me where to to find a description of the newest version of .ov2.
I have version 3 with record types 0,1,2,3 but I downloaded a file with recordtype 08 and others. anwb_beaches.ov2 from some NL website.
