Hello everyone

I was about to get rid of my old Streetpilot C580 for something a bit more modern, something that could do redlight cameras maybe? So after a brief internet search, a couple of downloads and ta-da, it looks like I will be keeping my faithful 580 just a little while longer. Thanks Poi-factory and I hope to make a contribution to the site.

Wise Choice

In some ways I think that it is better than the nuvi's. It is bigger, no wide screen and no routes, but it does everything else that my 760 does.

welcome

if it works, keep it. The new ones have some bells but if you are happy no reason to get rid of it.

couldn't agree with you

Works

Works and is simple to use. If it isn't broken, there is no reason to upgrade unless you want a new. The technology has been upgraded, but not enough to
get a new one at this time. Good luck with yours.

C580 working here too

I bought the C580 a year ago and it has been serving me well. A thinner model and route feature would be nice but, otherwise, the c580 is great.
