Side of the Street

I also have a 660, but have not noticed this problem. Once before I had problems with my unit not shutting down. The unit was mailed to Garmin who quickly fixed and returned the unit. This occured after the warrenty had expired, but not by much.

I would suggest contacting Garmin.

Contacting Garmin is always a good idea. I’ve noticed on my 660 and the 780 at times no side of the street is given. Those times, though, have been from places I've added, via address usually. Don’t understand why it would do that, but it did. Perhaps that could be part of your situation?

i have the same problem on my 350 but it's sporadic.

My 660 gives me side of the street most of the time, but occassionlly doesn't. Could it be the data file?

My Nuvi 660 usually gives left or right at destination....
However, What confuses me is there are times where between the time I program the destination, and the time I use the Garmin.... When I do get there...
I realize I don't know the exact address.....605, etc.

What I've been doing is put the address number in the title, so that when I get there, it prompts me with the address number....

"Now approaching -- John Doe 605, on right"

That helps me greatly...
