Garmin poi loader not working

I have an old Garmin Streetpilot C310 nd vista 32 bit. I have downloaded the poi loader from the Garmin site and have placed the Exe file on my desktop. When i click to install the files unzip and i am getting click next to install, then agree to accept the terms and then click done to launch poi loader now. The page then closes and nothing more happens. I use to have a pc with XP installed and it worked then. Is there a way round this? I Googled my problem and went round in circles. I have checked security and it has full rights but is not installed on my pc. Thanks in advance for any help

Sounds like you've downloaded and installed POI Loader but it fails to launch at the end of installation. Did you try launching POI Loader from Start menu?

Ditto with Chewbaca. Check your start menu for POI Loader.
If not there, see if you can remove POI Loader from "add/remove apps" in your control panel and then reinstall POI Loader again.

Thanks its working now. It was not in start programs but was in add/remove. I un and reinstalled and alls now fine Thanks again
