Mp3 alerts sound

Need Help:
I downloaded a home depot alert Sound mp3 file to my Gps unit Nuvi 885t , however when i reach the destination i hear no alert.
Note: My proximity points is eanbled and all files are the same..Home depot.csv, Home depot.mp3

Please advise..

make sure that you have your

make sure that you have your extensions being shown. If not, the actual file name would be alert.mp3.whatever

Did you run poiloader in the manual mode instaed of express and set a distance for the alert?

The biggest problems with the csv, gpx ,wav,mp3 and icons not working are the files not being named the same except for extensions and having double extensions. Double-check each of them. The best way to prevent double extensions is to go to your folder options in the control panel and click view then find hide extensions for known file types and remove the check mark. Click ok.

Mp3 alert sound

Hi Charlie,

I just tried again through POI loader on manual mode
and now i see the alert information on my file
It works like a charm now..
