Halal Resturants in North America

This has been started.

I wonder how this kind of blind descrimination can go on here at the factory!?!?! You must also include all kosher and vegan restrants in this list too!

I don't see anything started for all of North America.

If you run a search on halal you will find 3 resturant based POIs that can be the basis of an entire US POI. Plus there is one on religous facilites and the author of that one states in the description that he is/has started an halal US POI file.

We recently removed a few pages that mention zabihah.com after we were contacted by a representative from that site. We are working with them to resolve the issue, but it seems pretty clear that they do not want to be used as a source for this information.

Hi,i just found this site today and found it helpful. As mentioned on above post it's a huge project, but some of use can take some effort of distributing the areas and we can add them by States. I'm not a regular online person as i'll be on road .. but as much as i can find the stuff i'll keep adding it and then some one can organize to one single file.

I've added a POI file for halal places, mosques, and schools in Washington DC metro area (states including VA, MD, DC). Let me know if anyone wants there state to be added as well. Thanks.

a cuisine or a diet

I know that kosher is red sea pedestrians
and vegan is tree huggers

so I'm betting diet
