Thank you for contacting Garmin International my name is Andrew and I would be able to help you with this. I believe it's suppose to be out in August but there has been no date released yet. Best thing you can do is check your email once a week for the notice to be sent out for when it is available.

About to get my 265t in the mail soon and having learned about the 1 time map update, I just started looking into when the latest one would be out and I came upon your post. Thanks.
I don't have the updates available - didn't pay for the lifetime maps - and I really wish the dang unit would stop bugging me and telling me my maps are out of date. It's extremely annoying.
Garmin's Win2K driver hasn't been working last time I visited their site. So I haven't been able to register my 265WT. I presume the drivers and registration must be in place before any downloads attempted?
I just checked the website and there aren't any map updates for the 265WT.
The version that I have is : City Navigator North America NT 2010.10, Deluxe All Regions, Apr 09

Frankly, I'm surprised anything works with Win2k at all!
Well I'll be darned. My copy of "The Garmin nuvi Pocket Guide" by Jason D. O'Grady asserts that Garmin map updates come out annually in April or May. I know I can't believe everything I read, but I'm still surprised about an August update.
I'm glad I bought the "lifetime" map subscription for my nuvi 265WT but sorry I will return to my Colorado home from my Lake Tahoe, California vacation on August 3rd.
