I have a nuvi265WT. In the past, my voice prompt was specifically telling me >>>make right turn on East 32 St, It now tells me >>>> make right turn at .2 miles. I think I downloaded something that I shouldn't have. Can anyone tell more what the heck I did, and how to correct this. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

You changed from a TTS voice
You changed from a TTS voice to a standard voice.
Check your voice setting. TTS voices read the text while standard voice give general directions.

The TTS (Text To Speech) voice probably got deselected. Tools - Settings - Language - Voice. Make sure its set to a voice which has TTS.
Edit - 30 seconds too slow!

Did you change the voice or did it get changed somehow? The voice chosen should show TTS after it.

OK Guys.....thanks for all your help. Actually, I did need to be instructed on how to correct this. Apparently I didn't have the TTS option checked. Thanks again for all your help!!! All you guys are great!!!!!!
