Download Limit?

Hello All!

New to the site. Just upgraded to the Garmin 7200. In familiarizing myself with the unit I decided I should become familiar with POIs. After looking around for a bit I decided I liked the overall feel of this site the best and joined.

I like to camp so I downloaded a number of camping related files. After some downloads (4 or 5) the hot link to the files stopped being "clickable".

Is there some sort of limit to the number of downloads? I made a good faith search of the forum and elsewhere within the site and found no mention. Of course it could be I didn't look in the right places.

Welcome to the site, and glad you chose us. We will be happy to answer any of your questions, and look forward to your contributions soon.

I have never heard of a limit on the downloads from this site, except for the red light camera field where there is a charge, or it is available without charge once you reach Active Member status.

Well, now I am in a quandary. Neither my home nor work computer allow me access to the POI files.

I haven't come across this particular problem before. What Internet browser are you using (Internet Explorer / Firefox / etc.)?

Also, you need to be on the individual POI file's page (not the list of POI files) to download the file.

If you're looking at a list of POI files, click on the title of a POI file, and this should take you to a screen that shows details for just that POI file. This is where you'll find the download link.

Doh!

Feeling sheepish, I shall go back to beavering away on my POI file. (Whoa! How many metaphors can I mix in one sentence?)

Thank you.
