Just my personal opinion but this myGarmin Agent™ is just plain silly and totally unnecessary. All it does is sit/run in the system tray (along with the hundreds of other things that get put there, sucking up system resources) and detects when you've plugged in a Garmin device. When it's detected, you then click on the icon where it then proceeds to open your browser and take you directly to myGarmin.com.
I think I'm fully capable of opening my browser and clicking on my myGarmin bookmark/favorite by now...

It's apparent that Garmin feels their average customer is a total moron. Who knows, maybe they're right!

Surely you can see a device is plugged in. It can't be to far from you. I agree this is silly.

Garmin Agent
Does this work with all Garmin GPS's? I have the Quest 2 for my motorcycle and wanted to be sure it will work before wasting my time with it.
Are there any benifits to having this product? I didn't think I needed something to tell me I plugged in my unit.
