Firmware Update for Nuvi 265W

Here's a list of the changes. It also updates your GPS firmware to v.3.10b.

After the update, my traffic doesn't work!

I installed the update last night and used my 265W for this morning's commute. I did not note any change in operation. Traffic worked as usual.

After spending 2 hours on the phone with Garmin this morning I have traffic back. There was no file available to reverse the update. A few files were sent to me, but nothing helped. After some time the traffic icon came back. It is not known whether it was a just a matter of time that had to go by after the update or what. The unit still says it has version 5.1.

Now, if they will just fix the BT and the Flight status on the 885T.

Does that mean thet will update the 680 as well?

The 680 does not have flight status on the MSN.

I am at firmware version 5.1 from 5.0 and GPS receiver firmware 3.10B from 2.55B after this update.

I remember the gps receiver firmware being a separate download before. It looks like they just bundled it with the main firmware update this time. Oddly, no mention of the 3.10b update either.

MSN flight status now works for me.
