Repeating Splash Screen on Nuvi 255w

I just upgraded to a Nuvi 255w at Best Buy. I loaded all my custom POI's onto a SD card in the new Nuvi 255w.
Now ever time I turn it on I get the splash screen "New extra data found on card. Would you like to install all ----------". Followed by "yes/No"
I hit "no" but still get the splash screen every time I turn the Nuvi 255w on.
How do I correct this?
BTW I use a Mac and Garmin POI Loader.

Everyday is a GREAT day :)

.

If you say yes, you will be asked about the specific gpi files on the card. You can then say to not load a specific file AND you will be give a checkbox to not ask you anymore.

BTW, a search here for "data found on card" (with the quotes) turned up 6 separate threads with the answer to your question.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Hit "YES"

I can do that, but over time as I add more additional custom POI's to my Nuvi 225w won't the internal memory fill up to an overflow.
Is not the purpose of using an external card is for the extra capacity and not filling up the internal memory?
BTW using an 4 GB SD card.

Repeating Splash Screen on Nuvi 255w

Thanks "bentbiker" for that answer.
I did go back and check out your suggestion. It does seem like a double negative the way Garmin did this "data found on card" wording.
Problem solved and thanks to the other answer I got.

I looked to find the specs on the 225W and I didn't find how much internal storage it has. If you want to know, connect it via the USB cable and then go to My Computer and display the properties. I wouldn't be surprised to find nearly 1GB free, but check to see. Custom POI don't take up a lot of space. The combined Walmart file is one of the larger ones at just over 400k. I have a bunch, but by no means what some other have and it's taken up only 15MB.

Yes, the SD card gives additional storage to use as you want.
