I reviewed the video many times. If my observation is correct, the beginning (00:10) shows us when the light is yellow. At 00:13 it changes to red but the car has not even crossed the line. Assuming yellow light timing isn't tampered with, he's guilty.

His vehicle clearly did not cross the elongation of the intersection before the red light (where AZ cameras are triggered), so in that respect, it very much appears to be a violation.

I would have liked to see the video from green to yellow to red for the full picture, but even the driver doesn't seem to be making an issue of the yellow length.

That's a full violation.

It's the first line that counts and I've run it about 20 times (I'd prefer to capture it and view it frame by frame in Adobe Premier), but to me it looks like a dead heat - the light LOOKED Geen, but was clearly yellow, based on it's position in the stack.

It turned red JUST as he crossed the first line. Too close to call without a frame by frame analysis - in any case, a 3 second yellow is just too short.

Driver's entitled to the benefit of the doubt in my opinion.
