Sorry if this has been covered before. I just received a MapSource DVD from Garmin for free. I've installed MapSource and CNNA NT 2009 that comes with it. I'd like to know what is the latest 2009 version. Please note that I know CNNA NT 2010 released in April 2009 is newer.

Is that the latest of CNNA 2009? Is there a way to find out the versions from Garmin website?

In MapSource, select

These are the last three Garmin map update version numbers
These are the last three Garmin map updates with both the Garmin version number followed by the data map version.
City Navigator North America 2009 is data version 10.00
City Navigator North America 2009.1 is data version 11.10
City Navigator North America 2010.1 is data version 13.10

The version update of the 2009 maps from 2009 to 2009.10 made a big difference in my area both in new added subdivisions and road corrections and both added and corrected POI's.
The 2010.10 map versions "B" and "C" were install software tweaks and also corrections to the Junction View files.

I was talking about the part I bolded not about the 2009 vs 2009.1.
The 20xx.1, 20xx.2, etc are the map data updates.
