Google Maps Question

Just created a few routes using the line tool (not road) in MyMaps. I plan to transfer it to a nuvi via TakItWithMe when I purchase one in July.
Would the nuvi calculate appropriate routes based on the points?

If you click on "Cyberian75" it will bring up his profile showing that he has a 755T.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

I'll be purchasing one in July after new models come out.
As for my original question, I've drawn several lines in between A and B as waypoints or just points. A and B have addresses while those points do not.
Would this work?
