NASCAR Driver Nabbed in Phoenix

Carl Edwards, NASCAR driver, while on his way to race at Phoenix International Raceway got nabbed by a speed camera.
Nobody is exempt.................

Nobody exempt

Maybe is true that nobody is exempt, the camera doe snot recognize race car drivers, movie stares or politicians, what happens next could exempt them. After the photo is taken the exemption starts from there.

Many of the tickets are not mailed, because when they access the registry to send the ticket there is a review if they send or not. If you are a well known person that can be used to show other people they don`t discriminate, but the case is, do they pay the ticket....lol.
Remember in cases like this publicity is going for the booth sides

Law of the jungle is always in place don`t you forget.

Gps! ask where to go and get there! Best of all, what we need is to have accurate pois to reach all destinations

Just a thought

I wonder if would have been speeding if he was using the Dale Jr GPS?

Just a thought ...

"Life is a journey - enjoy the ride!" Garmin nuvi 255

That's what out of date files get you!

Guess he should have had the latest red light & speed camera file from Poi Factory in his gps...

Out of order files that`s not good

Red light cam file needs to be up to date, because gives us (the drivers) the advantages we need to be safe and not pay the greedy politicians their bar tab...lol.

Poi Factory is a nice site to acquire good information.

Perhaps he got confused about race time and venue??

Going slow at 90

I'm sure he feels like he's walking at normal highway speeds. Since he finished his race at Talladega flying through the air, maybe he'll slow down on the highways!

Nah....

GPS?

Maybe he thinks he does not need a gps when all he does is drive in circles!!!!

Driver's Ed

Do you think he'll have to take a driver's education course?

Does anyone know if you receive too many points on your license, will you be allowed to drive on a racetrack? confused

I just talked a friend today

I just talked a friend today that lives in Phoenix AZ and he told me that someone shot the person driving one of the redlight camera cars six times killing them. So they have garaged ALL the redlight camera cars because they are afraid of more killings. People in AZ are NOT paying the fines from those cameras and of yesterday the state is owed over $75,000.00 in unpaid fines. My buddy told me people just ignore them when them get one.

Helicopter?

I thought the drivers take helicopters to and from the track to avoid the traffic. Sometimes they stay in their motor coaches in the infield during race weekends.

Some take helicopters

I know this for a fact. Because I have to dodge them as I'm flying around the valley everytime there's a race in town.

Bet he wishes he had

I bet he wishes he had taken a helicopter...

As to the question if you can still drive on a track without a license, the answer is yes, as long as the track is privately owned.
