Trouble adding route from mapsource to Zumo 550

I went on a motorcyle ride From Harley-Davidson, in Mcallen,TX to Dirty AL's at South Padre Is. Then back to the Harley Shop using a differnt route. I can load the route going to Al's, but when I try to load the route back, it devides into 3 routes.

I'm trying to set this up so I can download it to this site or several other site, Encase someone wants to use it for the Bike railey this fall at SPI.

I set both up the same way, but it not working.

I'm not sure what you mean by this but "when I try to load the route back, it devides into 3 routes." Where are you loading it "back" from?

To create continuous routes, you should use the Routing Tool to create the start and end points. And then use the Pointer/Arrow Tool to move the route where you want it to go.

Thanks for your fast reply.

Thanks for your fast reply. For the route back I just entered the HD Shop as destion, when I got there I went to wrench and convered tracks to a route, Then up loaded to mapsource.

I need not want to come back the same way, or direct route which would have been the expressway back.

The part that I bolded is your problem.

When the Zumo creates the tracks, it breaks them up according to its own assessment of the start and stop of your route. It does not keep them all together necessarily.

What I would recommend is to connect your Zumo to MapSource and use the "Receive from Device" function to get the full tracks from the unit.

Then use the Track Editing functions to join the parts you want and then use the Routing Tool to create a route.

Or once the Track is all together, you could send it back to the Zumo and convert it to a Route there.

Thanks I'll try that again

Thanks I'll try that again this weekend.
