Laptop input to 765T

I just switched to the Garmin 765T from using my laptop loaded with Delorme 2009 Travel. Having planned all my routes on the laptop, I'd like to continue programming on it and transfer the data to the Garmin. Are there options to use this combination. Thanks (What an improvement over my orig 1996 Street Pilot)

.

You need to determine if the DeLorme software will save or export the routes to GPX format.

If so, then you will be able to export the files and then manually copy them to the nuvi.

It's doubtful that you will be able to send them directly from the DeLorme software to the nuvi.

You should be able to send

You should be able to send routes from PC to GPSr.

You could use Garmin's Mapsource.

You may be able to send routes from Delorme to GPSr.

I would suggest looking it up in Help in Mapsource and / or Delorme.

I just checked it out.

I just checked it out. DeLorme exports to a PDA with a .pdb file. This is not good unless it can be converted. (I have a SD card in the Garmin)

I bought Mapsource back in

I bought Mapsource back in 2000. If it works and is not too expensive I'll use it just for the convevience.
I downloaded MapSource and it looks like this will solve my problem. Nothing on the DeLorme website that indicated it would work. Thanks for all your help.

Delorme Street Atlas 2007

Delorme Street Atlas 2007 'help' discusses sending route info to Garmin using Exchange Wizard.

I have used SA but not with Garmin GPSr. My 255W does not support routes.

I'm just throwing out some ideas that you might want to try.
