I have a Garmin 765T and love it. I did purchase the MSN traffic receiver and like the gas prices, etc.
However, sometimes when I navigate through many of the menus and want to just go back to my MAP screen or the main screen, I have to press the Back Button several times - annoying! Is there any way to go to main screen without pressing BACK several times?
If not, Garmin needs to create a "home" or "Main screen" button as an option on these screens to quickly get back to the main screen.
.
Just press and hold the BACK button for two or three seconds. It will jump directly back to the main screen.
Going back
Pressing and holding the back button does not always work. Often it will go back one page, and hang up.
If this happens, try pressing it, holding it in for several seconds, and then releasing it. This will generally free it up.
THAT WORKED!
Just press and hold the BACK button for two or three seconds. It will jump directly back to the main screen.
That worked - THANKS!

In Your Owners Manual
MB,
Take a look at your owners manual. For the 760 (the T is probably the same or close) there's specific mention of the "back" button shortcut on page i (the addendum). There may be other things that are "annoying" to you covered in the manual.

Good point. I did look but may have overlooked it.
