Alert no longer alert onscreen

I have a 265wt. I recently installed the Red Light camera Poi's. Afterwards it would notify me when I approached an intersection in my area that had a RLC. This no longer happens. I reinstalled the file, but still no notification. I check and I have POI enabled. Any ideas on what else it could be?

Are you sure you set the POI to alert? This is the most common problem I have encountered.

mine did this also...it was
mine did this also...it was something i didnt do right when i was using the POI loader...might have been i didnt enable them, but cant remember. I would check the file when you are using the loader.

The strange thing is that it used to work for a few days. I don't know.

First, can you go to POI on
First, can you go to POI on your GPS and pick from that file as if it were a destination? Another words, does the GPS know the POI's are there?
If yes, simulate driving there (set your location close by on that street) and see if you get any indication, including a picture if one is associated with it.
I am assuming you do not have the file loaded as a TourGuide (different things to look for), and that you really do have the check mark next to POI so it is set to alert. I am also assuming, that your remark that it used to work, means you have not done anything with loading new POI's since it stopped working....

I've tried to reload the POI's obtained from this site and POI loader says they've loaded succesfully, however I do not "see" them in my POI list. I have similated a drive to a spot that passes an intersection with a red light camera but no alert.

Do you see any POI's that you load? And you do know, each time you load POI's the ones on the GPS get erased right? (Unless you rename the POI file once loaded)

Just to be certain, I had POI loader delete any previous POI that I loaded (not to many loaded yet).
I then re-installed a POI for Canadian Tire locations.
After the install (POI loader said I succesfully installed 400+ POI's) I disconnected the USB cable to the GPS and let it reboot. I then went into the POI list but I did not see anything resembling a Canadian Tire List (or anything like that).
