A co-worker just bought the card for a Europe trip. Can I copy th file on her card and put it on another card to use in my 765T? I read somewhere that the card is coded to the purchasers serial#. Is there away around that/change code? Thanx in advance!!
.
Nope. The data is locked to the serial number of that card. Plus it's not legal anyway.
You can, however, use the card in your GPS unit when your co-worker isn't using it.
No

No, because:
1.) it's unethical
2.) it's illegal
3.) the data is tied to that specific card, not the gps unit.
However, you can borrow the card.
Edit: She beat me to the punch.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Just go...

out and buy one...it is very well worth it...or check e-bay. I bought mine that way, you can save serious money that way.
