I came across this review today on the gpsreview site. It has a great chart breaking down the best value for GPS map updates dependent upon the length of time you keep your GPS. Note that the chart is based on MSRP, not the discounted prices sometimes seen.

Yeah ... thanks for the post. When it comes time to upgrade my GPS I will be looking at alternatives besides Garmin with traffic. The table will certianly help in the decision making process.
