Removing a product from your profile on Garmin.com

 

Does anyone who how to do this, as i dont see it anywhere on your profile, to delete a product, as i have just sold my old unit and got a new one,

You have to call Garmin and ask them to delete the unit from your profile.

I would just contact them

I would just contact them via email. They usually get back to you in 24 hours or at least they have when I contacted them.

If it's a brand new unit, why not just open a brand new account?

yea, just like the previous poster suggested, open up a new account for your new garmin device.

You really should contact Garmin and have them delete the old unit from your account. Otherwise the purchaser of your old unit won't be able to register the unit under his/her name.

I just had a lengthy phone conversation with Garmin's tech support Tuesday, they are exchanging my unit & told me that by the time I receive my new unit, I should be able to deactivate my old one via their website. Based on that, it's a feature that scheduled to be up within the week.
