thread order

If you click on 'unread posts', the thread list will show the most recent posts at the top.

Or are you talking about the messages themselves within the threads?

I would like the option to optionally change the order on any thread to see newest first. I use the unread post function (really like it), and always have to scroll through the entire list to find the one new post. Sometimes even need to go to the second page......

However, I would like it optional as sometimes I want to see the posts in chronological order.

JM: Can you add that to your list of future upgrades?

I just use the page down or end button to get to the end.

I guess I'm just used to the forums have the oldest posts at the top and the newest at the bottom.

Hadn't thought of that.....that will work for me.

I just click on NEW messages and it brings me to the first unread message4 that I didnt read.. works great and would not want it changes.. you can alway scroll up to see the older messages or just click on the form title to go to the begining.. You do have choices!!

I would like to be able to open a thread and see the messages from newest to oldest instead of oldest to newest. Is there a setting in the preferences that allows this? If so, I have not been able to find it.

As Motorcycle Mama does. If there happens to be more than one page, I'll go to the last page, last message and work forward. I suppose it really doesn't make much of a difference, just my preference.
