NUVI 650 POI

I have Garmin 650, two days ago I downloaded POI Loader from Garmin website and Signup for oneyear membership at this site and downloaded to my computer the SPEED CAMERAS AND REDLIGHT CAMERAS. These were saved with .CSV extension. These pois were then copied to Garmin and saved in the EXTRAS icon. The problem is that it does not show on the map the redlight camera location and does not give any audible warning. What do I need to do to get this working properly? Thanks

You need to download the mp3 file as well

For an audio warning down load the appropriate mp3 file into the same folder and give it the exact same same as the corresponding poi file but using the correct extension. Do this with the bmp file as well.. Make sure you don't have a double extension name i.e. redlight.mp3.mp3.etc...
edit:
So in the folder you should have something like:
Red-light.csv
Red-light.mp3
Red-light.bmp.

edit edit.. Also to see the icon you need to be zoomed in to about 300'

edit edit edit also make sure the proximity alerts are turned on...

Also, You may want to use the manual loading setting, so that you can set an alert distance.

Thanks guys, I turned on the proximity alert and that did it. Now I will try to see if I can set the distance alert.

I've always just used the auto settings, I've found that (other than alerting me when I'm like 1300 feet away and then again as I pass the intersection), it works great!
