Nuvi 660 bluetooth issue

I've been upgrading SW versions to 4.50 and having bluetooth work successfully with my Samsung u430. I upgraded to SW version 4.70 and am now having an issue where even though the units are bluetoothed I cannot answer a call on the Nuvi. The screen that used to appear saying "incoming call answer/ignore?" doesn't appear. Neither does the Nuvi 'ring'. But if I answer the call on the Samsung, the Nuvi 'picks up' and I can talk there.
I tried reinstalling the BT SW version from the moving average screen, I tried reinstalling the SW version 4.70 again, and disconnecting and re-bluetoothing the units. Same story.
I have downloaded the previous version(4.60) but have not installed it yet. How much 'personal data' does one lose downgrading? Anyone with similiar issues with this SW version?
Or, what about a general 'reset'?

Bluetooth Issue
I don't have a 680, but have had some problems with my 765. My wife and I have the same exact phone, and my wife's phone works flawlessly and mine has had problems connecting at times, which seems to point to the phone and not the nuvi.
Have you tried pairing from both the nuvi and your phone? I find my phone won't pair right from the nuvi, but will work ok if I pair it from my phone.
From the fact that your phone worked ok before the firmware upgrade, I would call Garmin support. Garmin's updates seem to have a lot of problems lately.

Yes, I've tried pairing them both ways, and they pair, manually, sometimes instantly, sometimes after a few tries. Funny thing is even though I get the BT icon, I can dial and talk from the 660 just don't (always) get the incoming call screen (and last night and today it will appear, occasionally, but only for a second, then goes away, with no way to answer the call from the Nuvi).
This phone and my old LG both worked reliably with the older SW version (unless there is another problem affecting the unit I am not aware of).
I have contacted Garmin and requested the file for the previous BT SW version. I *believe* there was a BT upgrade that happened with SW version 4.70, no way to tell now. Haven't heard back, yet. Nuvi says I'm running BT SW version 3.40.
