text to upi file converter

I found out that my Curtis gps takes uses upi files. I am looking for a good converter that converts from unicode text to upi

Follow this:

1. Download Your favorite POI's from here at the POI-Factory or create your own POI file with GeePeeEx Editor.
2. Download Sygic's UPI software at the link below to save the CSV file as Sygic's UPI file.
3. Copy the UPI file into the map folder and icon into the Icons directory.
4. Enable the new category - turn it on in the 'Manage POI' menu of Sygic software.

Thanks everyone for your help/. I have tried the converter for sygic and i dosen't work worth a dam.

I need to find another way

Probably really late, but I think you need to replace the , with tabs. At least the sample file provide with the Sygic Converter doesn't use tabs, it instead uses a tab space between each piece of info.

Really late response but for info..

The original post was talking about upi files and not rupi files. Different format I believe. Both used by Sygic but may be not by Curtis?
