nuvi 250 and traffic ?

I have a basic nuvi 250. As fas as I know it does not have any capability to support traffic alerts, But am I missing something? If I look at my avoidances screen, one of the things that I supposedly can avoid is "Traffic", See screen shot here: http://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=62664859ad6.jpg
So is this option being included just sloppy on Garmin's part because it is the software for other receivers that can use traffic (that doesn't make much sense since they clearly customize the software to remove other features that I don't get like ecoroute)? Or does avoid traffic have some other meaning? Or can I actually get a traffic receiver and use it with this model nuvi?

Looking at the Garmin website it doesn't seem that the 250 can receive traffic.
It's a good thing that there's GPS systems or I would be ... always lost!
