Nuvi 765T (troubles)

I am suffering since upgrading from a 660 to a 765T unit. I returned the first unit but the replacement crashes in an identical manner during use. Sometimes it reboots, but usually the screen remains black. It will not always reset by holding the switch to the left. I cannot find any other listings with this issue but wondered if it is a known problem? I have upgraded the maps and base software to ver 3.00.

mine seems to work fine has just restarted twice but not recently.

Not sure about that 1,000 MP3 limit... I've got over 1,800 on my 760 and have had no problems, outside of the initial wait of about a 30-45 secs when I turn it on
Oh, and I normally use my allmusic playlist, which I used last week to entertain everyone on a 4 hour trip.

I have not had any problems so far with the 765T. I have not been on an extended trip with it yet but have made a few short trips with it. Like someone said, it could be a production run. Hope you all resolve your problems.
