New Garmin Software?

I thought I read somewhere, but I cannot find where, that Garmin had new software that would allow you to tie a photograph to a POI file.

I am experimenting with creating my first POI file and would love to be able to save a photo with some of my POIs.

Icon file size

But the bmp file has to be so small wouldn't you lose all the detail. Might not even know what it's a pic of.

See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/19612 or do a search on "geotagging". You can also associate jpg's with POIs using a gpx file. GeePeeEx Editor will show you how.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
