Aquiring Satellites (DEAD UNIT) HELP!!!!!!!!

 

My 750 now averages over 10 minutes to locate a satellite when I first turn it on. After 3-4 minutes it says something to the effect of "Trouble Aquiring Satellites, continue?". Then is says "Locating Satellites and continues to take foreever.

Now I really have problems. The unit is NOW completly dead. It will not come on. When I plug it into the computer, the screen stays dark. Any ideas...please.

Someone else posted having the same problem a while back.Leave it hooked up to your computer for a while to make sure you have a good charge on your battery.You may have to do a reset after that.

Thanks.I found the reset instructions at Garmin.com. Hope this helps the satellite problem.

People have also reported success after cleaning their track log history.

You may want to back up your unit (just to make sure) and download the latest updates if you haven't already.

I did the updates earlier..thanks. I will try clearing the track log.
