Hello from a new member and a Nuvi Newbie

I treated my self to a Christmas present and bought a Garmin Nuvi 265WT. This is my first GPS unit and I must say that I love it. I didn't know the first thing about them so I did some extensive research and I am very pleased with my choice of unit.
Now I'm learning about POI files and such and I found this great site. I'm sure I will have many questions regarding my new toy/tool and I will certainly help other users out as my knowledge and experience grows.
Thanks again for a great community and I look forward to future correspondence.

I was shocked at how much fun and addictive a GPS can be. My brother who is mister low tech I mean low he still uses no computer. He only has a cell phone because he needs it for work. He told me he got a gift of a new GPS. He said it was great this was a couple weeks ago. I just saw it unopened at his office. I will have to get him to try and open the package they usually work a little better that way.
