I just download the redlight and speed camera CSV files. I know how the redlight alert works because of the reserved word redlight, so I was wondering if the speed camera file works the same, is speed a reserved word or do I have to use a different reserved word like tourguide/specs or set a distance manually.
???
I down loaded the speed and redlight cameras as well and they were added to `Extras` folder.
I know this has been covered before, but I cannot find the answer?
I want the POI`s to show up on the screen and not as a destination?
Please Help?

POI Loader Help

From POI Loader help file:
If a file contains "GATSO," "mobile," "SPECS," "safety," "speed," or "camera," but does not have a speed, POI Loader uses a default alert speed of 0, which means you will always be alerted. You can override this default value by entering the speed in Manual mode.
and
If the file name contains "redlight", POI Loader assumes all records in the file have proximity alerts with a distance of 400m/0.25 miles.

Try the following:
1.) Zoom all the way in
2.) Tap the screen to go into Browse mode, then zoom all the way in
3.) Put unit in 2D mode, and then repeat 1 & 2.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

It's simply a unique tracking code that Miss POI assigns to each camera (see FAQ).

Got it thanks. Going to do some testing on my nuvi 205 this week.
Found them
Thanks
They are just a dot on the screen, I was hoping for something larger. Will I have to actually turn on the alerts or will this be automatic?

Did the file name contain the word 'Speed' or 'Camera'? If so, "POI Loader uses a default alert speed of 0, which means you will always be alerted."
