help please

I can't get my 765T to power up this morning, and it is not recognized when I connect it to my PC via the USB cable...have not used it for a couple of days, but it worked just fine the last time.

is there a reset button?

Try

holding the on off slider to the left for several seconds. It is kind of a reset.

no luck

I have tried that...this is really strange

Took it out to the car, and placed it in the cradle...nothing

not sure why...

...but trying the reset tip again, now seems to have worked...now that I can see the screen, it looks like the battery may have depleted enough to prevent the power up...it is only showing one bar.

I have a case for it, and was using it at work the other day...I wonder if I left it on and closed the case cover. rolleyes

It connected via the USB cable as well, so now I am going to run Webupdater and get the firmware up to 2.50

Battery Depletion

In my experience, if the battery is depleted, it can only be revived by connecting to the PC for charging (not AC or cigarette lighter). It needs about an hour charge before it will be usable, which is probably what happened when you tried again.

I think you are correct about the need for a USB charge

all seems well now...I charged it all the way up by leaving it connected via USB
