Music limit on Garmin C580

I have a Garmin C580, I use the MP3 player to listen to all the music I play in my car. I have a 4GB SD card in my Garmin, but can only play 500 of the 750 songs (that may seem like a lot but it isn't), I have on the card, does anyone know if there's a limit on amount of music you can play on the Garmin C580?

If you have a MP3 player and haven't used it, try it, you can still navigate because the music pauses to give you directions and traffic warnings.

The newer units have a limit of 1000 songs, so it wouldn't surprise me if the C580 has a 500 song limit. Worst case, you could combine a whole album under one song title -- a bit of work. Guess I don't understand why of limit of only 21 hours of music is a problem.

With 2 gig sd cards now selling for $9 or so you could get two cards (or more) and split your music collection between them. That is what I have done. I don't listen to music, but old radio shows.

Music limit on GPS

Thanks for the reply, 500 songs isn't a problem, I just wanted to know if there was a limit.
