All in one POI file

Isn't there an all in one POI file somewhere?
My wifes car has a built in and has a zillion POI's.

Also, Does registering your Garmin give you special perks? I tried to register and this unit has already been registered.

Are you asking if there is an "all in one POI file" on this site? The answer is no.

The file (if it existing) would be huge and very difficult to manage.

Just browse through the files and download whatever interests you.

And if you are asking whether registering your Garmin GPS unit with Garmin, the answer is typically, yes. If you purchase a new unit from a retail establishment and if it has the old maps on it, you will typically be eligible for a free map update (if one exists and if your unit qualifies).

Is this a new unit or did you purchase it used? If you purchased it from someone, ask them to call Garmin and transfer the registration to you.

I purchased my Garmin new 3

I purchased my Garmin new 3 weeks ago and I tried registering it online, and I recieved the same message. That my unit number is already registered.

I think there might be an issue with the nuvi 660. This has come up a few times now. And yes, definitely just call Garmin. They will get that straightened out.

here's a thought

On the registration I wonder if someone had bought it registered it, didn't like it and returned it.
Some retail stores just put things back on the shelf.

Same thing happened to me with a refurb nuvi 350 - I sent Product Support an e-mail from the link on Garmin's web page (I was unwilling to hang on the phone for a long time), and they fixed it and sent me an e-mail so I could register this morning.
