Nuvi 205w AC adapter

I am looking for a home adapter for my mom's Nuvi 205w. I was wondering if any mini USB AC adapter would work or if there is a special adapter that I have to use to charge it at home.

Do you think something like this would work:

Thanks.

If original power supply from garmin is using mini usb connector than you can use any power supply that is using this type of connector. it should be rated 5V (usb standard) and at least 1A to work (it is rating for garmin power supply). Just in case check rating of your power supply.
I'm using nuvi 650 with different kind of power supplies (usually from cell phones) and it's working very well.
I'm not sure if it will charge unit if you plug it into computer usb outlet, because it is switching into data transfer mode and doesn't show battery indicator.

it charges

It still charges when in data transfer mode. And some Garmin's never show a batter meter when charging (my nuvi 250 puts a clock in the place of the battery meter when on external power, only shows the meter when on internal battery).

One can often buy a device such a a disposable phone that comes with a usb type charger for less than a usb charger alone (discard the phone if not wanted). And you can also charge the phone with a USB powered hub, an inexpensive item if you shop around a bit, and something that might come in handy for it's intended use as well.
