How do I load a BMP Icon on my Garmin Nuvi 265WT without having to have a matching POI file?

For example, a customized bitmap called "restaurants.bmp" would be associated with all the points in a "Restaurants" subcategory. Custom bitmaps associated with individual file names take precedence over custom bitmaps associated with subcategories

What I want to do is load only the BMP file, so that I can associates it with Built-In POI's on my Garmin Nuvi 265WT.

No this dos not really help. See the Clarification I posted on what I accually want to do.

Can't do that with built in pois.The only ones you can change are the custom pois and the favorites.For favorites you will see edit and it will let you change the icon based on the garmin selection not your own.

Yea kind of sucks huh?

Well I used to think like that and I just got used to downloading the POI's here and adding the acquired icon as well. Even makes looking up stuff a little easier too! Does not take as long as it does not have to look over the whole "whatever" list. Just my opinion.
