Here is what I found so far. These were all geocoded to address accuracy using GPS Visualizer (Google). I still have to do a little double-checking.

I am working on adding them to the file (I downloaded it from here). I noticed that city and state and NOT included. I am almost finished finding the State from the Phone number but finding the City is a little trickier. I will try to find them.

This file needs help west of the mississippi...krispy kreme will keep me busy for a while, but I could look at the kansas locations.

I was able to get the State from the phone number.

I am slowly grabbing the City from Reverse GPS geocoding but this is one at a time. So far I have the first 50 out of 599.

I hope to have the file done soon and will send in updated CSV and GPX files.

I have been able to "grab" the City of just over half. I am going to be away until Sunday and will try to get the file up by Monday or Tuesday.

I got all those locations from the Applebee's website. I had downloaded the file because I was going out of town, and wanted a few places that I knew served some good eats. It wasn't until I loaded the file onto the nuvi that I found out the closets location to me was 351 miles away however, I KNEW this was wrong because I could look out my car window and see a location in front of me.

Sorry I can't be of more help right now, but life has me on a short leash with little time to do much more than eat and run.

I just got home from the hospital (family member going through chemo) and thought I would checkout the website to take my mind off matters.

I know what that is all about, been through all that with my wife. Will be 10 years this spring that she finished (and beat the odds). She is currently going through brain surgery (Confirmed it is NOT cancer Whew)

I use an Excell Spreadsheet that has 4 worksheets.
1, The entry sheet
2. the CSV sheet (Derived from the entry sheet)
3. The GPX sheet (Derived from the entry sheet)
4. The MGLN sheet (Derived from the entry sheet)

I make changes to the entry worksheet. I make sure to replicate the lines on my other worksheets to make sure they have the same number of lines as my entry worksheet. I save the XLS then I save each worksheet as a CSV and run Poi verifier, GeePeeX and Magellan Editor on the files. (Each in it's own directory)

If you would like a copy of the spreadsheet I used to create the files, send me an email via my contact with what account I can send an excel spreadsheet to.

The new files were uploaded at this point (699 locations)

I am currently trying to add to the file as it seems to be missing many locations. To date I have found 2 in AK and 9 new ones for AL. I am working o9n coding these and will try to locate those in other states one by one as time permits.

As I finish a state, I will upload the new file with appropriate info in the description.

I realize how much work you are putting into this file - verifying locations is very time consuming.

Please keep in mind that it is very hard to find these locations a their website is not really "user friendly" for finding locations by State. For the most part, I am using Yellow pages and a lot of cut-and-paste with multiple manipulations. I am including the phone numbers so that you can call them prior to "visiting" the locations. (Just in case the address was off)

If you do find errors, please let me know so that I can update the files.

I have finished locating locations for: ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN & MO.

I have added the following number of locations by State: 15(ID), 74(IL), 72(IN), 42(KS), 40(KY), 2(LA), 31(MA) 24(MD), 17(ME), 89(MI), 67(MN) & 67(MO) (Geo-coded to address accuracy)

I also removed 1 duplicate from PA

I have finished locating locations for MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH & NJ and added the following number of locations by State: 3(MS), 7(MT), 14(NC), 11(ND), 20(NE), 16(NH) & 73(NJ). All were coded to address accuracy.

WOW, that's great!! I see this is a popular file as well which makes the work worth it IMO.

Two thousand and ninety four items! That had to be a lot of work!

I have looked over your file for the KS locations and refined it a bit. Most everything was ok, but several locations were off and some were not actual locations.

I am going to contact you, and then when you reply I will email the file to you. I think it will be easier that you retyping it all - right?

I used the file that you supplied with the corrections to KS locations to update the US file.

Four locations were deleted and and many had the co-ordinates corrected. Several phone numbers and a couple of addresses were also corrected.

I have uploaded the CSV and GPX files.

I tried to find a the applebees in Wilkes-Barre (PA) and the adresse and coordinates are wrong.

The line in the file I have is:

That points to the Wilkes-Barre Blvd:
