Problems with routing since Mobile XT 5 update

Hey everybody,

this is my first post, so I hope it is in the right place and that somebody can help me.

I have Garmin mobile XT running on my Vodafone VDA GPS
(aka Toshiba Portege G710) and finally managed to
install the v5.00.20 update from Garmin.

However, since the update, the routing accross
international borders in different mapsets doesn't work
anymore. I have CN Europe NT 2009 as well as more
detailed maps for Romania (RO.A.D 2006), Hungary
(Naviguide 5.0) and Serbia (SCGRoute 1.80) and they
used to work fine together before the update.
Now if I am in Romania and enter an address in a
neighbouring country that used to be no problem to
navigate to, I get "unable to calculate route to
destination". I checked all the settings and made sure
that I had no exclusions of road types, etc.

When I activate only the multi-country set Europe NT,
I still CAN navigate to destinations in neighbouring
countries, but the instructions are not detailed enough
for Southeastern Europe. As soon as I add one or more
of the more detailed country maps, I get the mentioned
error message. I can deactivate the local maps and
calculate the rough route with Europe NT and then
reactivate the detailed maps in the options to see
more precisely where I am, but then the routing
instructions stay unprecise based on the Europe
mapset. If I try to recalculate the route, again I get
the error message.

Also, I noticed that in some views there are frames on
the map indicating the borders of the individual
mapsets.

It all worked great before, but Mobile XT v.5 is much
nicer and I would prefer to stick with it and make
routing work again, rather than downgrade back to v.4.
Can anybody help me to get my mapsets to work together
again?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I did try to reinstall
all the maps in different combinations, but the results
remain the same!

On another note, a Garmin screen just advises me that
my 2009 Europe NT maps are over one year old and should
be updated! How can that be? They just came out!

Thanks in advance for your advice!
