Hello , I am considering purchasing a Garmin nuvi 750 but the description of choice of maps(North America or Europe) and the limited warranty seem strange. Has anyone purchased the 750 with a 90 day labor warranty. Here is the description :Preloaded City Navigator® NT for North America or Europe (full coverage) Vehicle suction cup mount Vehicle power cable USB cable Dashboard disc Quick start manual 1-Year Limited Warranty (1 Year Part and 90 Days Labor.)

"All Garmin products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Within this period, Garmin International, Inc. will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components which fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, provided that the customer shall be responsible for any transportation cost. This warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, misuse, accident or unauthorized alterations or repairs."
The choice of maps is typical.

It sounds like one of the infamous NY scam artist sites and they will probably offer to "Upgrade" you to a 1 year parts and labor warranty (that is already included as standard from any authorized dealer) for only $200 more and they will probably throw in a 1 GB SD card for only $100 more also.
If you are looking to buy from a online site check them out at http://www.resellerratings.com/ before ordering anything.

I finally got in touch by phone and it is a grey market item and also did some review searches online and they appear to be a NY company high pressure on accessories and will cancel the gps order if you do not purchase an accessory.
