2200T Roadmate earphone volume

I cannot barely hear my voice commands thru my headsets from a CD player. I use this on my motorcycle and would really like to hear as well as see the voice prompts. I do have an input plug on my Harmon-Cardon Harley radio but not sure even with this it would help.

Any ideas?

The way I did a work around was to go in and pull off the speaker and bring it out the bottom. There is a hole in the connector. I did install two resistors (about 8 to 10 ohms I don't remember what I used right now) each on each side to give some isolation and insure a load is present in case there ever is a short. Then connected that to a audio jack. I was looking for a quick fix and that was it. It works fine on my bike audio system now. I run the audio just over half way. I did look at using the internal plug but did not want to eliminate the ability to have the head set.
