Nuvi 200 "extras"

On my Nuvi 200, after pressing the "where to" button there is the "extras" button which only contains "Custom POI's" which I added from this site.

Are there any OTHER extras that might be put in here?

Maybe other maps will eventually be placed here if I upload them to the GPS?

When I registered my Nuvi they gave me a link to the 2009 N. America map and a serial number/code to activate it. When I tried to install it the dialog said that it would not load because "No prior qualifying software was present"

I don't go to Canada much, so I guess having just the lower 48 isn't such a big deal. But it would be nice. I've got a 1g SD card just sitting there doing nothing basically after loading just about everything good/useful from this site into it (took a long time to download it all and sort it into folders). I'm only using about 1/4 of that 1G SD card. 2 and 4G SD cards are cheap too and if I needed more memory I'd not care about putting a bigger SD card in for $30-40.

I wonder if any games or other software will become available for the Nuvi 200 at some time in the future. I get bored sometimes at rest stops and camping places and a nice game of freecell or something like that would be great.

Or have the nuvi 200's been so crippled by Garmin that they will never ever do anything like this?

Just POI files...

To the best of my knowledge, the only two things that currently go into the "Extra" area are Custom POI files and Tour Guides and the 200 doesn't support tour guide functionality. So only Custom POI files go there.

Extra, Extra

My 750 came with route 66 preloaded in the "extras" folder. Now I have my custom POI folder in there as well. I wonder if you could make multiple custom sub folders in there, say for instance, your favorite restaurants, your work accounts, relatives addresses, etc.? If anyone knows if & how it can be done, please share.

Custom POI categories appear only as categories under Extras/Custom POIs, not directly under Extras. I trust you know how to create such categories; if not, see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/8674 for Motorcycle Mamas explanation.
