Download ALL POI
Not quite sure why you would want to download everyone of the poi's but You would need to have more than just a gps. Probably need two or three large sd cards.

.
You need to download each file individually and then load the ones you want to your unit using POI Loader.
That's a lot of files

I wonder just how many GB of storage you would need to hold every POI file on this site? Miss POI, is that information easily available?
no idea

Actually, I don't think it's that much. See:
The latest Red Light Camera file has 2,961 records. It's size on disk is 241,664 Bytes, or 236 KB.
Assuming then, than both .csv and .gpx formats have roughly the same file overhead, 1,000,000 POI entries would take roughly 81,615,670 Bytes, more or less 77.83 MB
I counted 827 icons. Many are duplicates, but even if you wanted to copy all of them, calculating an average of 1.6 KB per 24x24 bitmap, it comes to about 1.3 MB extra.
In all, 80 MB of storage should do.

But there are way more than a million POIs on the site now. That million mark was posted only a few months after the site started.
Too much info
That would make finding the file you need quite a chore. After going to custom poi's you would have a lot to Scroll through

1 card should be plenty
A single 2GB card will hold approximately 25 million POIs, so I'd be surprised if it would take a number of large cards to contain all of the poi files on this site. The real question is why would you want all of them?
I doubt there would be any time savings by downloading in bulk and then editing out all the ones you don't want or need.
Besides, I found a number of interesting and useful POI files I never would have thought of after I had browsed every category that could possibly interest me, but more importantly I skipped hugh numbers of files that I have absolutely no use for...

You downloaded the NY Area Gentlemens Clubs file, didn't you

Well since this is a G rated site, I'll just say with the woman I have at home, I have absolutely no use for that one, even if I did still live in NY.

There are a lot of cool ones here, but unless you travel cross country a lot of them are localized. I like the red light cameras and the hot dog joints.
