replace voice file for Jill on nuvi 350

On my nuvi 350, the tty file for Jill has become garbled. Garmin technical told me to use Webupdater but no file for Jill is there. Does anyone knew the "location" of the garmin files so I can download it? Or any suggestions as to how to get a replacement would be appreciated greatly.

poor Jill

I had trouble with Jill pronouncing street names incorrectly. Ny new girlfriend is Karen, who does a much better job with most of the names than Jill. Besides, I have no idea what Jill looks like, and the pictures of Karen make me wish I was 50 years younger. I would even forgive her for her husband and new son. BTW I understand she is living in New York now pursuing a singing career.

Delete the bad voice file

If you simply delete the "bad" voice file you will be offered the replacement via web updater next time you use it. It will "see" that you don't have that voice and let you get it again.

Why are they always offered?

I've been through quite a few firmware updates with my 750 so far, and each time, I continue to be offered the two American, two Austalian and two English voices (along with many others, but these are the six I keep current). Even after updating to the latest of each voice, the next time I run WebUpdater, I continue to be offered the same version of the voice. Is this normal?

True. However, if you do it this way, you must either update to the latest firmware first, or at the very least, fake the update.

Fake Update?

Can you explain how to do a "fake" update?
