After you've created a route with Road Trip???

Hi fellow Mac users,

Once you've created a route, using Garmin's Road Trip, how do you get that route to your GPSr? I've created a route, highlighted it, and clicked on the "send" button in Road Trip. Then after I unmount my Nuvi 880, I can't find the routes I just uploaded.

Am I missing something here?

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated...

Regards,

I had a 760 and used to load routes from my mac. On your Nuvi, you have to look for the icon "My Data" and then 'load' your route. I cannot tell you the specific process to get to the screens but this should help you get started. (I don't have the Nuvi handy to search the screens for you)

I would like some information on this Road Trip software you mention. Where is it available? I never heard of this software and am intrigued.

The only applications I am aware of for trip routing are PC (MS Streets & Trips and DeLorme Street Atlas) and would love to have a good alternative for my Mac.
